This Eco Club from Coleman, Alberta has been very busy making a difference for the environment! After
learning about plastics in the ocean and its effects on Sea Turtles as part of the Fall 2025 Earth Rangers
Quest, they created a “Plastics Rap” which they presented to their whole school at an assembly! They
were even asked to enter a Music Festival to share it there, and were be able to teach more people
about the importance of keeping plastics out of the ocean. The club, made up of 3 students from each of
the eight Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes, meets most weeks at lunchtime, and sometimes welcomes
some early learners (ages 3-5). Way to go Horace Allen Eco Club!
