“Our juice box initiative begins at the start of the school year and runs until the end. Each day after lunch, two members of our EClub goes around to different rooms in the school to collect juice boxes. This is their recess time, however they are motivated and see the importance of recycling juice boxes properly instead of just throwing them away. The juice boxes are then counted by EClub members and recycled at a local recycling plant. The money raised goes towards different programs and supplies at our school. EClub encourages both students and staff to make sure they dispose of the straw properly and empty the juice boxes before throwing them away.”
